Dedicated to G.Wiggy

Warning: This post is purely just for laugh. Read it with an open mind, and if you're in Flinders University or you know the *coughs* 'lovely' G. Wiggy, do not, DO NOT tell him about this ok?! Tongue

Because I <sarcasm> 'love' </sarcasm> my lecturer so much, I am dedicating one entry just to him. His name is G. Wiggy. WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Ok, that's not his real name, but something almost similar and one of my colleagues came out with that name for him, and I laughed my head off when he told me that.

You see, he has this 'disABILITY' to speak, and he goes er.. er.. er.. all the time! We (my colleagues or classmates) love to discuss about why he does that. And we came out with sooo many hyphotheses like, maybe it's his beard, or there's something wrong with his jaw muscle, or his processing.

But I strongly believe it's the beard! Really! It must have been too heavy, thus, pulling his jaw down all the time, so he has a difficulty to speak properly.

It's sooo hard to hear what he says, and with all the er.. er.. er.., he is a blardy good hypnotist.

And look at those beards!! I always wonder how much microorganisms actually live in there. I swear there must be a really dense and rich flora and fauna in there.

Daniel agrees with me because according to him, "Imagine how much food get stuck in there. Oh, especially when he eats biscuits!! Try to imagine that!!"

No, thank you. I don't want to even go into that. I mean, bread, biscuits, or crumbles!! Wah lauuu..

You know, I told one of friends that I am so tempted to go down there, and PULL HIS BEARD REAL HARD AND SHOUT AT HIM, "CANT YOU SPEAK PROPERLY?!!!"

Alas, I did not. Of course lar! I am very civilised ok?! But imagine if I do that and he screams and cries in pain. WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA! Damn! That's really rude! Hahahahaha. But that's just my imagination.. :P

You see, he hypnotise us all, and of course, before you're hynotised, you'll imagine things and you get the idea.

"YES I AM! And so? <insert smiley that sticks tongue out>"

Another victim hypnotised. He is a really good hypnotist, I swear!

Choccy Choc! :D

"All my students just stared at the fish tank"

"Fish tank? Since when our class has a fish tank?"

"I explained to them about glycolysis and they ALL just looked at me like kids staring into the fish tank, with the jaws dropped!"

"Hahahahahahaha! And?"

"I was traumatised."

"WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Right after we finished at Caromandel Valley (the Pear Orchard), Sumi rushed me to the city and I managed to reach at 9.30pm. Exactly one hour late! Sorry Maddy!

So, the place is called Chocolate Bean, in a small alley in Rundle Street. Well, it's a super small shop too, but there are signboards and so on to lead you there. :)

Maddy had the whole 2nd floor booked, so we can make noise, jump around and gila like nobody's business. But no, we are all very civilised :) especially me. <insert angel smiley>

The cake is chocolate mud cake. Super yummy but I was so full already I cannot possibly eat anymore - only one piece.

So here's the highlight of the night!!!

Ok ok, Maddy is the highlight of the night but this is one of them ok?!

Look at the huge plate of strawberries and the chocolate flowing down the fountain!!

Look look! Are you drooling yet?

No?

Somemore here! It's dark chocolate, good for health! :P

Ok, for those of you who don't know, I'll enlighten you again. Hehe. I am currently doing a small research on the effects of dark chocolate on blood pressure, and most studies have shown that dark chocolate do lower blood pressure.

It contains an antioxidant called flavonoid, and this dialates your blood vessels. So, have dark chocolate! But only a small piece ok!

Ok, back to the chocolate. Are you drooling yet oi?

Of course, we did not finish the whole fountain. So much chocolate man!

Patrick got a small cup and got some chocolate from the fountain and poured it into his chocolate drink. Siaw.

No, I'm not that crazy lar. But still, drank Rose Hot Choc, ate a rich mud choc cake, and the fountain. Everyone's high on sugar.

Classic words from Patrick that night.

"Eh, you want to eat, don't smile lar ok? All the chocolate stuck to your teeth, damn ugly wei"

In his very pure and loud Singligh (Singapore English), to another Singaporean girl.

I literally rolled on the floor laughing.

Caromandel Valley

I'm BACK! Miss me?

No no.. That's supposed to be a statement, MISS ME! :P

Anyway, yes yes, pictures from the Pear Orchard at Caromandel Valley. I'm running late, so I'll write as little as possible lar, but you'll get the idea from the pictures. :)

So we were shown a tour around the orchard. It has a really cool history. In short, the owner's great great grandfather used to own a flour mill, but because he has tuberculosis, he wanted to retire at a quiet, and peaceful place.

He sold his flour mill and bought this huge piece of land and built a house there. And planted all these pears, and tadah! It became a pear orchard now.

They have 6 different kinds of pears, and they plant some apples too but they don't sell the apples. They have it for themselves only. And for me too! :P

My brain freezed! Can someone please help me a bit. What do you call that fruit on the top right hand corner again? I don't know why I just forgot. I even told Chin Ting the name when we saw that tree.

Edit: Now that my brain has warmed up, it's called persimmon! :D I don't know if I got the right spelling but someone can correct me. :)

It's the dramas. Bad for brain. Kids, you've heard that, so NO MORE TV!

But yeah, it's Sara Jean's favourite fruit. Oh, in Malaysia, you buy them in packets, imported from China. I told my mum we have them FRESH in Australia. I think she'll go crazy when she sees these pics. Haha!

Imagine my mum with her eyes wide opened, going, "WAHHH!"

Food! GLORIOUS FOOD!

Every event is incomplete without food, IN MY OPINION! :P I love food too much. FOOD!

You know, back home, we have to go through all the trouble of getting charcoal, getting them started and so on for a BBQ, where has, the Aussie BBQ is just simply a match away. You light the stove, fry your sausages and/or meat patties, and you eat them with bread, ketchup and BBQ sauce. And sometimes, fried onions. I was like, you call that a BBQ? It's more like frying than BBQ. :P Oh well, different culture. For the Aussies reading this, I'll show you guys what our BBQ is like when I get back to Malaysia!

Then we had barn dancing! You swirl and you twirl! Haha. People who live up in the hills used to have nothing to do. No TV, no nothing, so they gather around a camp fire and do barn dancing. There are a lot of different types, but I love the Streak the Willow most! I hope I got the spelling right. Erm.. It's like what you see on Pride and Prejudice. Damn fun but tiring.

Funniest quote of the day:

We were having a meeting and one of my colleagues told us that a student sent him the shortest, email ever.

For those who don't know, scientists (Chemists and Biologists) normally write a ÄG at the end of a chemical equation to represent the amount of energy needed/released for that reaction.

So, a student didn't know what it means, and sent my colleague an email that says, "ÄG, what the fuck..?!"

The whole meeting room burst into laughters when he said that. Classic man. Classic! These students just amuse me sometimes.
